Almost everything I planted on the first of August has come up except for the beans. 1 lonely bean plant has grown and thus I continue to plant beans. It has to be something with my soil. In today’s video, we journey through 3 phases of planting our fall garden. In addition to direct sowing 3 beds, I planted 45 seedlings in cups, primarily because I don’t have a place to put them right now. Most of them will go into containers that will enable me to chase the sun during the fall and winter months. We planted 2 types of kale, collards, 3 types of cabbages, rainbow swiss chard, cucumber, zucchini, yellow straight neck, spinach, mustard greens, 2 types of romaine and kohlrabi. Kohlrabi is completely new to our garden. It is supposed to taste like cabbage and we love cabbage so cross your fingers!! #PlantingFallDesertGarden #LowDesertFallGardenPlanting #FallDesertVegetableGarden #FallDesertColdCrops #Zone9b #DesertVegetableGarden #ArizonaGardeningTips #GrowFoodFromSeedAZ #HowToGardenInArizona #ArizonaGarden #GrowYourOwnFood #ArizonaBackyardGarden #UrbanGarden #CityGarden Video Rating: / 5 Placing Ollas in my Garden in the desert. I had the same type of feeling last Friday. I got rid of a lot of stuff that wasn't producing or was hit by the spider mites. Nice tour. I am ready for the fall garden season.

I love the comment “watering all my life” followed by the overt threatening of a tomato plant lol

All my stuff wilted and is struggling. 115 TODAY. UGH. I have eggplant baking on the plants lol. Glad I found you here in phx. How is your irrigation working out. Looks GREAT.

Thought; I wonder if you do the same in reverse to store castings and keep them moist? Seal the clay pots. Use saucer as lid. Place clay pot in water bath. Put castings into the pot.

Wow cool. I've never hear of this.

Great video. I have never heard of a Ollas system. What tickled me was the noises. Huge dog barking nearby in first part of video. Some type of Jungle Bird making noise. Screen door type noises. 3 days later your ordering your servant (probably husband) around while you shoot video.
