I would love to know the amount of $ for each project that you make. I want to have a makeover on my front yard but I need to have a budget.

This was such a helpful and thorough series for us beginners. And I love what you said about attacking it in phases based on your budget. That’s kind of where we are right now because we’re also looking at getting new windows for the house. Hoy!

How do you drip irrigate one the other side of the house if there is no socket for water?? Crossing might make it hazardous for tripping over and my husband doesn’t allow to do that !

Thank you so much, Laura and Aaron! This was such an awesome series especially because I have the same color siding to my house and have long straight beds next to the house that I wanted to plant – thank you so much for this!

One question – In another makeover video, you mentioned that the black elderberry lace plant outside the window was a wrong choice for that spot, but I noticed that you added a lemony lace elderberry next to a window here. Could you please explain the reason? I have a 4 feet Japanese dwarf maple and was planning to put the lemony lace elderberry next to it hoping it would grow 4 feet only, but stopped after hearing your thoughts in previous makeover video(my windows are 4 feet off ground so it might not block the view). Response from any subscriber is also highly appreciated!

Hello Laura and Aaron, firstly thank you fir sharing your knowledge with us all, I am learning so much. I must say that for me, I bought my first house last year (it is my 38th move as I was in the military) I live alone and am a Nurse so very busy. After finding your videos I actually feel more knowledgeable and able to tackle all the different areas here. You have given me the ability to just 'start', now on my days off over the last month I have been tackling rocks, stones, slate, weeds etc., as I can now envisage what a garden can look like and actually feel able to achieve these enormous projects. Please never stop making these videos or I would be lost. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your friends are very lucky to have you both, their garden looks absolutely beautiful. This was so inspiring and helpful!

  • This is a wonderful example of how to do a typical home. Thanks for this!! How much would this cost the average person do on their own with all these plants, tubing mulch pots and weed barrier?

  • Liz Cedillo 1 week ago

This is so me. I enjoy the placing and all the plants. Beautiful and it sure goes well with the style of the home.
