[Total: 0 Average: 0/5] This is a step by step landscape painting tutorial. In this video I show you how to paint this beautiful canyon river waterfall scene. I share my techniques in detailed steps that are easy for you to follow. Please expect this painting to take around 3-5 hours depending on your canvas size and how much detail you put in. You will need to periodically pause throughout the video, as I have shortened it. In this tutorial, I used an 18″x24″ Level 1 Artists Loft canvas and multiple paint brands (Liquitex Basics, Grumbacher, and Windsor & Newton Galeria). Colors Used: – Titanium White, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Mars Black – Any variety of yellows (I used yellow ochre and cadmium yellow deep) – Any variety of blues (I used prussian blue, ultramarine blue, and pthalo blue. You really only need 1 though) – Any green that is good for painting leaves (I used Hooker’s Green). You can also mix your own green with yellow and blue if desired. – Any red, for painting in the flowers/berries on the lower right shrub. You can skip this if you do not have red handy.
