[Total: 0   Average: 0/5] WEBSITE: Arizona Desert Hiking: Phoenix’s Squaw Peak Mountain For your entertainment, get to know Catspit Productions’ home. There are two main attractions at Squaw Peak: the Summit Trail and the Circumference Trail. The Summit Trail is by far the more traveled. It is about 1.2 miles to the top. The trail itself is rocky, and has a stair effect. There are convenient stops along the way for those of us who either need to take a breath, or those of us who want to get a breathtaking view of the city. The city views are all wonderful, and you don’t have to go up very high to see them. The Summit Trail provides a decent workout even for those experienced hikers. It is rated as a moderate hike. The Circumference Trail at Squaw Peak is longer at about 3.75 miles and is a much more gradual ascent. It takes longer, of course, but kids and dogs can do this one and the views are just as good. It is also less crowded than Summit, which at times seems like the Interstate at rush hour. To get to the Circumference Trail, pass the Summit Trail Parking area and go to the last ramada. Whichever trail at Squaw Peak you decide to hike today, make sure you are wearing good hiking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and that you bring enough water. The Squaw Peak Recreation Area has been designated a Phoenix Point of Pride. There are a total of 31 Phoenix Points of Pride that have been designated as such by the Phoenix Pride Commission. According to the Commission, “The Points of Pride consist of parks, cultural facilities, historic residences and mountain peaks. All these unique locations are found within the Phoenix city limits and contribute to the […]

I love it here in Phoenix. I lived in Tucson for a while and it’s much more ghetto down there. Very economically depressed. Tucson is still growing but the City refuses to build infrastructure in order to keep their village feel. They are choking themselves with traffic. It’s worse than Phoenix. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

You made me miss Arizona. I lived in Tombstone, Fort Huachuca, St. David, and Tucson. Long time ago, 58-65, brief interruption with France and England. Love the desert, not sure I could ever go back tho. Tucson is alot prettier, but the people there always seemed pissed off at something or other and eachother. Heard it hasn't changed much. Phoenix is the hottest place I ever visited, you can literally cook an egg on the sidewalk in summer……

WOW!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Not only did you capture some of the beauty and elegance of this incredible area of Earth, you are one of few that have the good sense to pair it with the music it deserves. I hiked this mtn many times in the late 80's…and miss it very much. VERY good filmography, if you could only capture the unique scent of Her Majesty, well you'd have it all!!! Muchas Gracias!
