Cactus Cactus Superfood – Breeding and Transplanting – from Campbell’s Liberty Farms

Oriental prickly pear fruit and pads are a very tasty treat, but did you know that this cactus is used to lower blood sugar levels in diabetics2 and help with hangovers. Other possible future uses could be to lower cholesterol and help treat symptoms of enlarged prostate, obesity, colitis and diarrhea, this fruit has anti-inflammatory properties and contains high amounts of ascorbic acid, vitamin E, carotenoids, fiber, amino acids, & antioxidants Oxidizing compounds. Oddly enough, anyone in Australia who has a way to destroy a cactus has been rewarded by the royal family, and now it may be the latest superfood.
