Jasper the Opossum takes a short walk into the desert to learn about its geology, plants and wildlife, as well as a whole set of local entertainment activities, making the 11th annual Chihuahua Desert Carnival a happy day for everyone. The free event in the Tommez area of Franklin Mountain State Park will be held on Saturday, September 19 from 9 am to 3 pm. It is sponsored by the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife with the help of volunteers from the Chihuahua Desert Education League.Video by Rick LoBello
