Get the townspeople together and dig a deep well by hand. Then dig 4 or 5 more just like it somewhere else in town or out of town.

What kind of weather conditions are required for this kind of water harvesting? The area I am thinking about has a humidity in its 20s and the temperature ranges from 28 to 37 in 24 hours. Is it even possible to prototype in such weather? Please let me know! Thanks in advance.

Wonderful work. However I would suggest a final uv-radiation treatment is installed because I can imagine that birds will sit on top of those nets and their droppings may stick to the nets and thus contaminate water running down the nets.I have no idea if white nets will be more efficient than those dark coloured nets. A white surface tends to heat up slower in the mornings thus giving the captured water more time to get into the drainage pipes. Good luck.
