[Total: 0    Average: 0/5] You must sign in to vote Dale Chihuly Exhibit “The Nature of Glass” at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix http://www.dbg.org/index.php/chihuly Here you can see the plants that we have brought to the sale and also a few plants from some of the other vendors. This sale is a special, “3” day event and we do this twice a year. Day “1” is always a Friday and only the garden’s members can come in for that whole day, to pick out the best plants. On Saturday and Sunday, the general public can come in and browse through whatever is left over. Please enjoy this and let me know what you think of it. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FYI – This is the first time that I have ever filmed, edited and uploaded a video, in one day. This was filmed in Phoenix, Arizona, in mid March, just a few days before the spring plant sale at the Desert Botanical Gardens, which is located right next to the Phoenix Zoo. This was filmed with a SONY HandyCam, model HDR-CX230 and edited with Sony PlayMemories Home. ————————- LINKS ————————————– Here is a link to the Desert Botanical Garden website: http://www.dbg.org/ Here is a link to their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/DBGVision ————————— TAGS ————————————– Plant Name: Agave (many types) [taxonomy:genus=Agave] Plant Name: Royal Agave Plant Name: Queen Victoria Agave [taxonomy:binomial=Agave victoriae-reginae] Plant Name: Boojum Tree [taxonomy:binomial=Fouquieria columnaris] Plant Name: Joshua Tree [taxonomy:binomial=Yucca brevifolia] Plant Name: Red Yucca [taxonomy:binomial=Hesperaloe parviflora] Plant Name: Creosote Bush (next to the SLOW sign) [taxonomy:binomial=Larrea tridentata] Plant Name: Saguaro Cactus {taxonomy:binomial=Carnegiea gigantea] Plant Name: Cardon Cactus [taxonomy:binomial=Pachycereus pringlei] Plant Name: Diamond Cholla Cactus [taxonomy:binomial=Cylindropuntia ramosissima] Plant Name: Dagger Cholla Cactus (with small, fat leaves) [taxonomy:binomial=Grusonia invicta] Plant Name: Monster Senita Cactus Plant Name: Totem Pole Cactus […]

Such great specimens! I have a question for you: do you ever sell plants over the internet or have a website that you sell through?? Sorry if you mentioned this in another video, it's none of my business really but I wondered if you are affiliated with that botanical garden or another one, or are those plants all your private collection, because you have just a stunning and vast collection!!? Anyway, amazing plants!! Thanks again for sharing! :)?

?????? Looked a little like a Genista tinctoria in front of the "slow" sign. Nice cactus exhibition. They certainly look very ornamental and pretty when lined up in large number–the hedgehog floral ones, I mean. That agave growing amid the cactus would be nice for like when a floral or ornamental display is required. Like in a foyer, or somewhere. You'll have to show us some bronze and variegated cactus mutations–if they have such things. I hope you made a pretty penny from your $ale$!
