This trio will be performing music from the the contemporary jazz canon that features rhythmic complexity, harmonic sophistication, and melodic beauty. Bios – Jesse Joaquin Parker has performed in venues ranging from the Telluride Jazz Festival, DROM in Manhattan, and the Nuyorican in San Juan. Mr. Parker is a dynamic percussionist who can be seen performing with symphony orchestras, Afro-Latin groups, and jazz ensembles. Jesse teaches music at Paradise Valley Community College, Desert Garden Montessori, Arizona State University, Phoenix Conservatory of Music, and Phoenix Center for the Arts. Marcos Crego started his initial music studies in the Conservatory of Music Manuel Saumell, in his native city, Havana, when he was just five years old. Since he was a child, Marcos followed in the footsteps of his father, the great trumpet player Jose Miguel Crego
