Though Apple improved the camera with each iPhone model, I would not have used version 3, 4, & 5 to film an actual project. However, iPhone 6 now provides a level of video quality similar to dedicated cameras, and can also be displayed at 1080p. A very pleasant surprise. Pros: Excellent auto focus. No more focus hunting. No more delay. It just works. Touch focus is fast and accurate. Battery life better than some dedicated cameras. Display much easier to view at angles. Didn’t miss a swivel LCD as much as feared. Just plain simple and fast to use. Cons: No level meter. I missed this most, and the iPhone has the hardware. No saturation, contrast or sharpening adjustments. These can be done in post easily enough. Would be nice to adjust exposure and lock it for subsequent images. It appears, with iPhone 6, we now have the ability to produce excellent video. iPhone 6 Plus 1080/30p 720/240p Native camera App Manfrotto 560B Monopod Benro BH00 Ball Head JEBSENS Tripod Mount Final Cut Pro X Video Rating: / 5
