Cactus and succulents are slow growing and great for adding a splash of greenery to small spaces, windowsills, coffee tables, on a desk or bookshelf. Light requirements can vary depending on the species you choose and the climate you live in, but most will thrive in bright indirect light, filtered sun or morning sun. Other species may require full sun. Cactus and succulents thrive in dry conditions, the fastest way to kill a cactus or any other succulent is by over-watering. So better to error on the dry side… When in doubt, skip watering. Going on a trip? Or forgetful when it comes to caring for plants? No worries… Cactus and succulents do just fine with neglect too. I s there any chance that you would share some of your recipes on DIY natural scented candles. I would enjoy that very much.

I didn't know the soil needed to be dry before I planted them. It was moist soil but not soaking wet. Do you think they will be ok? Also, I didn't put drainage holes but I can. Recommendations?

I love all your cactus and succulent videos! <3 I live in an apartment and have a few mini cactus gardens going now. I was wondering if you had any experience with growing a larger cactus garden? I have a beautiful dish that's 14 inches in diameter, and I really wanted to grow a cactus garden out of it, but I'm not sure if it will be too big. Any suggestions on making it successful?
