Kenya is expanding cultivation of a relatively new nutritious, drought-resistant forage grass for cattle that could boost milk production, resulting in higher incomes for families. The grass is already in use in several countries in East Africa. According to researchers it doubles the milk output. For VOA, Lenny Ruvaga reports from Siaya, Kenya.
