Love your videos. Do u happen to have a single, older family male member that shares your knowledge and interest? I am seriously looking for a male with the? mindset of what you are all about. Healthy, gardening, self sustaining living. It is what we need to do!

Hi john – concerned about the use of vermiculite – isnt there evidence of asbestos contamination in the? stuff?

John i have actually been using the Earth Box system, which is the the original of these systems. they work great! I have 6 boxes now and I? plan on getting 2 more this spring. This is in addition to my raised beds. There are actually farms (in Cal. i believe it is) that use only these in their fields. the great thing about that is with the right soil medium, they can be cert. organic on day 1!.

Love this video!! Is there anyway you can post a follow up with your friend? The follow ups are some of my favorite videos. Your videos inspired me to go out and build? a small 4×6 raised bed that I planted with my 2yr old son. He loves getting his little trowel and taking care of the “flowers” that he can eat lol.

    Hey John!

I love all you the information you share and thank you for all your time. Using a grounding wire from the soil of the potted plants to a grounding wire seems to help. Experimentation is so fun. I never understood why my plants that were not connected to the earth did not do good until I just accepted the simple truth. I? have done research regarding grounding and found my assumptions hold true. I read a book called “Earthing”
