Shane, I’m confused. I have recently gotten my first thanksgiving cactus (schlumbergera truncate), and I read up on care online. The advice I was reading is to let the media dry out before watering. Mine was full of buds. I let it dry out and it dropped all its buds. I’m so disappointed. If I keep it moist will I rot its roots and die? Mine is kept indoors, room temp during the day and drops about 5 degrees Fahrenheit at night, humidity about 40-50%, indirect sunlight. Thanks.
