We made soup from aloe gel (cut it into small chunks, cook in water, add some rock sugars) and it's good. Again, only use the fillet gel inside, remove outside skin, clean the yellow sap

I would eat the whole deal, because you will lose nutrients if you throw the green stuffs, too. I would say the whole plant is Divine. You just need to have the guts to drink it quickly without wasting any part of it

Man, I just blended up the juice and meat from a whole young Thai coconut with an aloe vera leaf that had been cleansed in the same way shown here… it was awesome! Super easy and quick. Thanks for sharing!

I WAS TAUGHT THAT WHEN A LEAF IS CUT IT HAS AN ENZYME THAT STARTS TO ABSORB THE ESSENTIAL BENEFITS IN THE ALOE VERA. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ON THIS.

My dog has demodectic mange. I have been applying Aloe Vera to her skin to ease the itching. I plonk the whole Aloe, skin and all, into the blender. Is the skin safe to use?

Very good 🙂 Thank you for sharing this. I had never thought of the water soak. Most just simply tell you to let the aloe rest in order to allow it to drain and I always wondered about that
