Hi Maria how are you?. I have a dessert Rose that must be at least 10 years old and is directly planted in the garden. I would like to take it out and check everything and plant it in a pot before I lose it as we had a lot of rain and a few of the aloes next to it developed root rot. It is in the middle of summer in South Africa. Should I do it know and wash and trim the roots at the same time I appreciate your assistance

Maria Maria, you inspire me very much! Unfortunately, I live in Norway with hars climate and have to keep Adenium indoors! We have a very cold winter and short summers and our paradise must be indoor. What can I do to make the best out of it? I will promise to be a good caretaker of this beautiful desert rose.

Will it kill the plant if we wash the roots and raise it as a seedling? It won’t make the caused bigger?

Hi Maria firstly thanks for all your videos on adenium obesum. After watching this along with many other great videos I have a question please. I live in UK a wet climate firstly. I just bought my very first desert rose from a chap on ebay in UK. It came bare root and only young @14cm. I obviously had to pot it up in my own mix of 1-1-1 of cactus soil, hort grit and sand. Also lastly about 10% perlite.
After watching this video I can see that to pot these now is not the right time summer. Also my potting mix may be not enough compost? I am worried it wont survive now?
I have also bought seeds that are supposed to be fresh so thanks for that video also. Thanks for any comment in reply. All the best from Wales.

I just found your videos and I am in LOVE. We just got some Desert roses in today from a nursery and local (Texas). I picked the best one and put it in a pot to take home. I think I will be ok because of your information. You are the best. Someday I am going to Florida to see your place. Thanks from Texas

Hi Maria, I enjoy your video! I leave in SC I have plenty of big windows facing E W S N
You said desert rose like strong sun, I notice my plants leaves turn brown on the tips when expose to sun. I bought a 3ft green house but I bring my 6 plants inside at night afraid of being infested of bugs. I put them in family rm 75 degrees. They are maybe 1 yr, 3 yrs old bought from stores. What are your thoughts?
    Thanks
    Flo
