Hi Maria how are you?. I have a dessert Rose that must be at least 10 years old and is directly planted in the garden. I would like to take it out and check everything and plant it in a pot before I lose it as we had a lot of rain and a few of the aloes next to it developed root rot. It is in the middle of summer in South Africa. Should I do it know and wash and trim the roots at the same time I appreciate your assistance
Mam should i replant my adenium plants in winter (December)?
My Adenium just stoped growing in May , she is alive and as far as i can see, does not plan to die )) but she kinda froze and doing nothing. She is about 9 month old now. Dunno what to do with her….Shame i cant upload a photo in the coment!
Nice mam What is the Best potting mix for desert rose plz suggest me
hello maria, are selling seeds of desert rose of different colors?im from the philipines
Maria Maria, you inspire me very much! Unfortunately, I live in Norway with hars climate and have to keep Adenium indoors! We have a very cold winter and short summers and our paradise must be indoor. What can I do to make the best out of it? I will promise to be a good caretaker of this beautiful desert rose.
Will it kill the plant if we wash the roots and raise it as a seedling? It won’t make the caused bigger?
Your video is amazing you are such a master of adaniu thank you for sharing your experience
Hi Maria firstly thanks for all your videos on adenium obesum. After watching this along with many other great videos I have a question please. I live in UK a wet climate firstly. I just bought my very first desert rose from a chap on ebay in UK. It came bare root and only young @14cm. I obviously had to pot it up in my own mix of 1-1-1 of cactus soil, hort grit and sand. Also lastly about 10% perlite. After watching this video I can see that to pot these now is not the right time summer. Also my potting mix may be not enough compost? I am worried it wont survive now? I have also bought seeds that are supposed to be fresh so thanks for that video also. Thanks for any comment in reply. All the best from Wales.
Do you sell these online ?? Have purple desert rose ? Thanks
I just found your videos and I am in LOVE. We just got some Desert roses in today from a nursery and local (Texas). I picked the best one and put it in a pot to take home. I think I will be ok because of your information. You are the best. Someday I am going to Florida to see your place. Thanks from Texas
Hi Maria! Can you give me your address, I want to buy some of your desert rose…Thanks
Hi Maria, I enjoy your video! I leave in SC I have plenty of big windows facing E W S NYou said desert rose like strong sun, I notice my plants leaves turn brown on the tips when expose to sun. I bought a 3ft green house but I bring my 6 plants inside at night afraid of being infested of bugs. I put them in family rm 75 degrees. They are maybe 1 yr, 3 yrs old bought from stores. What are your thoughts?ThanksFlo
Hey Maria…is it ok to bring my desert roses inside then back outside to avoid it being overwatered. I too live in Florida and this rain everyday seems a bit much. Thanks
Great video! Thanks!
