Because of its desert origin, it has adapted to hold water in its soft, swollen roots and the caudex, the oval swollen part of the stem that gives out branches from its top. Profusely flowering and interesting to look at because of the unique looking caudex, Adeniums can significantly add to the beauty of any garden. It may seem obvious but firstly and most importantly successful germination rates depends highly on obtaining the freshest seeds possible from a trusted supplier like ourselves who have experience in raising Adenium & Pachypodium from seed. LOL don't water these every day, they hold almost all the water they absorb in their stem, and watering them every day makes the stem grotesquely big. once a week has given me a nice thick yet not bulbous stem and a luscious top covered in blooms
