I started my cucumbers from seeds on April 27th, 2016 and I’m planting them into containers on May 30th, 2016. I used Kellogg Patio Plus Organic Potting Mix and I added to the soil a hand full of rock dust and a hand full of Dr. Earth Organic Fertilizer. I planted 1 cucumber plant in the pot, so it has plenty of room to grow. This is s bush variety, so I will not need pols or trellises for it to climb up. I water my cucumber plant every night after it cools down as here in Arizona is already in the 90s. The first evening, I watered them with 1 tbsp of Liquid Organic Alaska Fish Fertilizer deluded in 1 gallon of water and I will do this every 2 weeks. Today (June 3rd) the cucumber plant is looking really good despite of the hot weather. The pot is on a South facing patio and is getting about 8-9 hours of sun light. As it gets hotter, I will pull the container underneath the patio around 1 pm.
