It would have been helpful to know how much water and how often.

Question how do I estimate how much sod I need for my front yard ? And what kind of knife are you using to cut the sod ?

Beautiful sod! What type of grass is this one??

  • GreenValleyTurf 1 year ago

Sounds like you need to prep the soil. Compost! Check out our soil preparation video,

My yard dried out about three years ago, so now it's pure dry dirt and sand..water beads of the dirt & doesn't wet it as much. How can I work with that.

Hi, great video…My question is: I have dogs. Will my sod last or will the grass still turn yellow? Is there anything I can do to have green grass :)

I have just some patch repair to do, and this simple video (from my home-state company) was invaluable. One question: Should mulch be mixed into tough soil, plus sand, or just rough up the existing ground? Thanks, Sean.

What kind of fertilizer did you use

I have never seen sod so green

Always start at the bottom of a hill and work up. On steep slopes we will use sod staples or corn dog sticks to hold the sod in place. That would be in the 30 to 50 degree slope range.

Is there any tips if you have to install sod on a slight decline? My yard is slanted maybe 5 -8 degrees.
