There are few days this week with 90 degree temps but the weather has been nice and the plants are loving it! In today’s video I share with you how I reuse my container soil and what steps I take to revitalize the soil. This month marks one year since I created my youtube channel. To celebrate tomorrow I will be going live around 6pm AZ time (currently/pre DST akin to Mountain time.) During that live show I will share with you the things you can plant in the month of October. I hope you if you have some time you can stop in and say hello tomorrow evening! #ReuseContainerSoil #ReusePottingSoil #RevitalizeContainerSoil #FallDesertVegetableGarden #FallDesertColdCrops #Zone9b #DesertVegetableGarden #ArizonaGardeningTips #GrowFoodFromSeedAZ #HowToGardenInArizona #ArizonaGarden #GrowYourOwnFood #ArizonaBackyardGarden #UrbanGarden #CityGarden Video Rating: / 5

Where do you get your worm castings?

I was in my garden today hunting for worms (those JERKS)! Speaking of JERKS, I was attacked by ants. They seem to love my luffa. Do you do or use anything special to keep ants away or do you kinda just let them do their thing?

On a happier note, my Texas cherry has also started flowering now that the temperatures have gone down and I have tons of peppers and mexican squash (I don’t know the name. They were the seeds from my grandmothers garden). LOTS of cucumbers and Luffa as well! Super excited!

I wasn't aware that if you fertilize squash that it would produce female flowers…wish I'd have known years ago…lol
