    I remember having hands full of worms as a child, dug up in our yard in
    upstate NY. They don’t smell. Little digesting tubes for making good
    dirt, lol. That’s what they’re for. A moist, not drippy environment is
    My Father had a bin with worms and newspaper and such, for enriching all
    the plants. (get some newspaper somewhere – it’s better than white paper
    for this purpose)
