This road took me into the desert on highway 141 which runs along the Colorado Utah boarder, while filming on location by the Dolores River the heat really started to crank up! I did manage to capture a couple good photographs, and if your ever traveling in the area be sure to drive this highway, it’s pretty amazing!!! Hi!  Thanks for sharing Day 4 of your adventure.  I really liked your reflection photo.  I actually felt like I was standing there in the brush with you looking across the river.
There's so much talk about taking photos only during the golden hours and I've been lucky to have that experience.  With that said, it was very encouraging to see a beautiful photo taken during a non-golden hour time. I'm older and therefore cannot hike in the dark so many times I have no choice but to take photos when I can.  Any tips you have about taking photos in less than ideal light will be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to the next installment.  P.S.  Make sure you try to get some sleep.  You looked like your head was about to fall forward into the camera.  :)
