the problem with permaculture is that it criticizes large scale farming but does little to understand or come up with large scale usable fixes…. the same guy who makes $350k US$ from 1.2 acres does not make the same proportionate amount from ten times the area… bigger farm means bigger problems and the need for more mechanisation.

Dude after five years you wont have to prune much or put new trees in or make cuttings or do much at all… in 15 years you will be like Shit man this is a fucking mess I will have to get out my chainsaw and chipper for months to control this shit… I have stuff on a one acre block that is compact and its always a mess each and every year and takes too much of my time…. when I can control a larger 300 acreage and make far more and have far less physical work and still do this when Im 86 years old.
I saw a guy who was making $350k US$ for a 1.3 acre block but the poor guy had like 7 mexicans working it and pulling weeds each day… your like surprised that a farm can produce so much stuff lol imagine how freaked out you would be if you owned a real farm and had to look after 1000 acres of Blueberries…. lol have fun with your little garden. I was talking with a guy who is going up to a farm with 90,000 hectares of peas and beans and a beef feed lot coz the cattle just wanted to stay close to his water and hay and lay around.. perfect for feed lot, lazy fat cows.
