Lyn,  I just found your channel…..  OMG your collection is wonderful….  I was wondering if you have Opuntia Vidacea AKA Santa Rita…..  I would love to send you a cutting from my mother cactus but wanted to make sure you didn't have this type of cactus…  They grow at my vacation home in Arizona….  Let me know as I would love to send you a post….  Hugs to you from California   GO IRISH   cat carrigan

It is such fun to unpack a new box of cacti/succulents. Mine are 99.9% bought from a company in Arizona, so I know what I am getting, but you never know the size/quality, till you open the box! And every so often, there are blooms on ones that I have never gotten to bloom before. But the free trades/gifts, like you got, are the best! Handing down heirloom plants is the best, to make sure part of your family survives!

Those 'old fashion' Christmas cactus cuttings/plants you got, are the best. I have one that was my great-great -grandmothers, over 150 years old! A huge plant, I see tiny cuttings of them on Ebay for sale, and people want, and get $15 for a single tiny little cutting!

IF someone in my family takes care of this one, after I am gone, I will be shocked. No one cares anymore about tradition/legacy. I think I will be the end of the line for this Christmas Cactus. Might have to put it in my will, to donate it to a cati club, here in Fla. Even if it is cut up into smaller plants, at least it will survive. Just found your videos, will be watching from now on!

Hi Lyn, a really nice unboxing video from your friend Paula. The plants arrived in such great condition too. And the cactus socks, SO cool. It really is better to give than receive, I give away plants and cuttings all the time. It's nice to spread joy to people with cacti and succulents. Your seeds arrived today, thanks so much for sending them. They arrived fast, the mailman must have been a great swimmer to get them to the US so quickly. 🙂  . It really brightened up my day. Thanks so much!  Your friend in AZ, Keith

    Cactus socks…
    Sounds prickly !
People are so weird : they wear garden gloves for handling cacti but dress their feet in cactus socks ! LOL
