Thank you for your comments. It’s been a real learning experience for me. I was use to growing the south, which? was very easy. Right now I’m winning the battle against aphids attacking my broccoli, but not doing so well with leaf wilt on my tomatoes. Best of luck with your garden 🙂

Good project! We just moved to the High Desert in December and I’ve moved many of my plants from coastal Los Angeles: my dormant fruit trees and some tropical plants that were moved when the weather warmed up some. We overwintered succulents and cactus inside. The trees are leafed out and I have started lots of containers. We have harvested some chard, chives and arugula, so it’s all very exciting! I am checking out all the desert grower vids, so very glad to find? yours! Good luck!

My yard has several micro-climate areas. Planting the best variety for this area is important. On the walkway my soil is only 6 inches? deep, that’s why this year I’m going with containers. Checkout my follow-up video to see some of the varieties I’ve planted, Thanks Randy for the comment 🙂

that back wall looked like it had more shade. some tomatos will put on blossums? but wont fruit when it is too hot. I had a variety called HillBilly that was that way last summer. as soon as the temps dropped below 100 averages they made fruit
