Blight spray is generally a copper spray ie copper oxychloride. You spray every 2 weeks and it boosts the plant’s immune system – there isnt much you can do to cure blight, but you can prevent it. Anything? labeled “liquid copper” etc will work.

what was your yield might or have? you harvested them yet? Thanks!

    No prob,
Around one L of water. Two pints.

With the Calendula I use 3 dried flowers and two tea spoons of dried chopped horsetail leafs. I make? an infusion from the dried herbs first, then strain and when the tea is cool, I add the essential oil with the washing up liquid 😉

HOW MUCH WATER do you use with the (10 drops of thyme oil)?
and How much calendula and horsetail are you using with the thyme oil?

Sorry I mispelled “roses” in above? info..

Hey cool thanks for? the tip. Must give it a try 😉

For my roases I have been using cinnamon sticks and myrrh, bringing them to a boil in about a quart of water to make a decoction, simmering about 15-20 minutes, covered with lid and when cooled adding few drops of dish lotion for? sticker. It works to kill blackspot and keep it away if used every week. The draw back is that something about it kills the sprayer. Maybe if I took the end out of the mix and set aside for the next week, it would be ok. I had not thought about that. Thanks

How much water with the 10 drops of thyme?

Do I add? 10 drops of calendula and 10 drops of horsetail also or maybe it is a tsp or so of dried herb to the thyme and water.
Mostly how much water to the 10 drops? Thanks

  • workwithnature 6 years ago

Hey no problem. So about 10 drops of thyme. I usually make a tea though. Just the same for drinking ;). You are dead right a couple? of drops of natural washing-up liquid works well to make the oil spread and stick. Have fun with your mix 🙂

How many drops of essential oils or herb in how much water. Sorry to be a bother, but thought it might make a difference to know how strong of a tea. Do you add little dishlotion for sticker. I know on roses to spray them here we are told to add a few drops to liquid to use as a? sticking agent. It does help.

I used a? mix of thyme/ calendula and horsetail. But any by themselves should do. Horsetail being the best. Thanks for asking 🙂
