Creosote bushes are all over, but yet I happen to notice something red at the top of one…how to find out that it was actually a camouflaged cacti that had ripe fruit!!! What makes this really interesting to me is that creosote plants are said to have the ability to grab more water by inhibiting the growth of nearby plants thus killing them off…seems like this cactus enjoys some of that water 🙂 Filmed in 1080p HD Filmed by ArizonaAdventuress Please hit “LIKE” and “SUBSCRIBE” to be a part of my Arizona Adventures My YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/ArizonaAdventuress Please Donate if you can: Filmed in 1080p HD Filmed by ArizonaAdventuresS – © Copyright, All Rights Reserved Music created by: ArizonaAdventuresS Used with permission – All rights reserved Please Donate if you are able to: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=QL3NU78SH5DNG Please hit “LIKE” and “SUBSCRIBE” to be a part of my Arizona Adventures Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. That is some nice fruit there, wow! That is called the Arizona Queen Of The Night Cactus. Technically it is called Peniocereus greggii and the variety is transmontanus
The fruit is edible and the tap-root forms a large tuber underground. I just finished re-potting nine babies the other day. They like growing under trees and shrubs. Thanks
