Thanks to Turo for sponsoring this video! Check out Cabinscape’s beautiful off-grid cabin rentals in Eastern Ontario here: Home We love the idea of putting low impact, off-grid tiny homes like this on conservation land so that people can have access to wild spaces and spend some time reconnecting with the natural world. The Mica cabin is off-grid with 4 solar panels, 3 batteries, and a backup generator. The solar power system runs the furnace fan, the lights, the composting toilet fan, USB outlets, etc. For hot water, cooking, and heat, there are 2 x 100 lb propane tanks. The cabin has an indoor Separett urine diversion toilet. The urine drains into a french drain buried outside the cabin, and the solids are composted in a self contained composter until they are ready to be safely spread on the land. There is a greywater filtration pit for sink and shower water. The water is drawn from the lake and has a small storage tank outside the cabin that is always kept topped up. What we really loved about this tiny house is that the bed was on the main floor. We’ve visited so many tiny houses with lofts but rarely see one like this that eliminates the need for a ladder if you don’t want to sleep up top. It does take up extra space on the main floor but the convenience is not to be underestimated! Thanks for watching! Muito bom e com a ducha pelo lado de fora da casa ficou interessante…
she nose all about tiny homes lmao
I’m sure it sooo peaceful there, but I’m a little too skittish to sleep downstairs against two windows! Lol
I love this design! I want a pass-thru window in my kitchen, as well. What quality construction. Beautiful materials…timeless design. So much natural light.
Does not look comfy at all. From the bed pushed in the corner, to no indoor shower, and a wicker settee? Too many great ones out there.
Whilst in bed basically you're looking at a set of knives!….hmm very strange and unusual…lol
No shade or privacy blinds for the windows would be logical! I agree with one other comment in relation to the electricals under the bed, not my choice! how safe is that I would have them set up outside in a weatherproof unit. …Could have a private metal sheeted shower and sink area outside with two showers would be better. Also, you need it bigger to incorporate a good-sized lounge as seriously where do you fit people in cold or wet weather…not logical practical in its overall design…
Love this house. A person can enjoy nature and have fewer bills.
Nice place, but only for people with not too many clothes, who don't wash their clothes too often.
The garage door window and the outdoor shower in the Canadian winter…. brrrrrr!
It's very nice viedeo. Subscribed ~ ^.^
Where do you shower in the winter ???
Nah, specially for a so called cabin…I dont want my shower outside. They could have done a toilet shower combo which is common for these size builds.
Beautiful! Bravo!
I loved but no the out shower.
Sorry i need 1000 square feet minimum so imma pass on this. Bye!
I didn't know Chris Pratt was into tiny houses. Cool.
And I also do like all the windows.
I would not like showering outside. My bathroom gonna be on the inside. Its too small. The only thing I like is having the bed on the first floor. The furniture looks so uncomfortable.
overall love design, specially, kitchen sliding window.
