I have a white substance on the stems of my Mistletoe Cactus. I can scrap it off but I am unsure of what it is. Any ideas?

Hello Lyn, as we always have your plants. I see some wonderful adult plants of some that in my collection are just "children". With that greenhouse, you have no deficiency of sunlight? Happy new year!!

Hi Lyn! As always amazing collection and really admirable how dedicated you and Hans are to all the plants! 🙂 I had questions on the Schlumbergera truncata. I called the nursery it came from and they said it started to bloom for them back in November. It had flowers on it when I got it, and those of course eventually wilted. But now, some 3 weeks later, its not putting out anymore buds and tiny buds are not growing. Meanwhile the "leaves" on it look just fine, green and healthy. In the northern hemisphere, when do they usually finish their bloom cycle? Could it be its finished blooming or do you think it aborted energy from the buds for adjusting to my home environment which is likely more dry and with less light than it was getting in an outdoor greenhouse? I suspect its because I can't give it very cool conditions at night, coolest my basement gets, short of turning off the heat, is about 59-61F

Awesome update Lyn. You need more hanging baskets for sure. This baskets here are so expensive. So nice for your plant to bloom after three years.Repottings are doing so good to the plants. New ingredients for them to suck. You have this color of Schlumbergera. I asked you because i have it too and i wanted to sent you a cutting if you didn't had it. Awesome video Lyn. Senting you both all my love. Here now is very cold.
