The desert Southwest can be a very hostile place for a “vegetable garden” however, with a little love and lots of water it is possible. All plants were planted from “heirloom seeds”. Way to go bro. Sounds like you and I could be pretty good friends. You got the three things that are most important to me right after God and family. Gardening, cooking and shooting.  God Bless America and long live the Republic.

I like the raised bed lots. Have you ever thought about cukes at the bottom maybe in boxes to climb up your lattice and soften the look of it while freeing up space up top?
Really nice. I'm going to have to do something with a railway tie abortion left by previous owners where I am. Your bed gives me ideas. Check out Apr. 24 in the Savage North if you like. Bye for now.

I hate you. (LOL) I can't plant anything until second week of June! Your garden is looking really good. I'm going to print out a picture of it and hold it up in front of my dirt patch, and pretend. 🙂

well i was going to ask if that was a cucumber in your garden,or is it glad to see me? reminds me of the two guys that were abducted and underwent the obligatory alien probing. when they got back to earth, one said to the other, quick! lets report this to the police!!! to which the other said, whats your hurry ? im gonna wait and see if theyll come back!
