I returned to some ok things, good things and a few bad things. I go over them all in this video, excuse the length please as this was a full on garden update post no maintenance, rain or weeding for a week! A lot of things did really well. We got in one afternoon and then that night (the night before this video) we had a huge wind storm pass through. No rain, no thunder, just a ton of wind and that broke one other piece of my fencing and then knocked over a bunch of corn and some sunflowers. 🙁 Blog: http://littlefarmbigdreams.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LittleFarmBi… Email: LittleFarmBigDreams@gmail.com Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/AgentLizHuskey Twitter: https://twitter.com/ElizabethHuske1 Video Rating: / 5

wind is the one thing I don't like in the garden, nice to meet your younger son.

Do you make flour with the mesquite pods? I want to try to make pancakes with mesquite flour this year. They are all over the place here in the Phoenix area.

I have had corn wind damage in the past too. I now place stakes around the corn and wrap rope around the stakes to give the corn support.

Great to come back from my vacation to see you with your younger son. Looks like the wind made a bit of a mess there. 🙁 Pomegranates usually get harvested in our area between August-October.
