To my surprise it worked and this is how I did it. ▼▼▼More info bellow!▼▼▼ There are 3 cacti in the garden that were in bloom at the same time. The bloom display was wonderful and attracted some bees. Soon after I discovered the formation of some fruit. In a few weeks the fruit got ripe and started to split open, revealing an abundance of black seeds, protected by the pulp. I collected the fruit and removed the seeds with the help of water, as the pulp is really sticky. I let the seeds dry for a day and planted them in a seed tray with a dome on top to keep in the humidity. In just 2 days I had the firsts seedlings! I removed the dome and kept watering them regularly. Two weeks after they already have some spines and are starting to look like cacti. It will take a while until they mature and I don;t know what I will do with them, but it was fun to see them sprout and grow from seeds! ————————————————————————————– ✿ Want to send me something? Amazing results, easy to follow instructions. I use a heating pad, set on lowest setting, to give the seeds a little extra warmth. Thanks for the video.  Keith in AZ

You got so quick and fantastic result 🙂 I also had a similar echinopsis, and I tried to make the same project several months ago. However, after almost four months my cacti is still so tiny (((
I also would like to add, that I did not have a lot of trouble with a pulp because I collected seeds when a pulp was dry.

I don't know what it is about seedlings, but it's like growing HOPE.  It makes me happy….but then they get bigger, and you're like YIKES, I've got a million new babies.  Would you ever cross pollinate your African Violets and grow them from seed?  If so, would love to see a video on that too?
