Provide shade and moisture via mulch and you will have happy worms in your desert garden as well 🙂 I would like to have about 4″ of mulch, but it’s not always possible for me…do what you can and build your soil up over time. I just discovered that worms could thrive in the hotness of the desert through the power of mulching process. This vital information could really help for the better improvement of the garden to attain a very healthy soil. Good job!

Beautiful man. I was bummed out seeing the bare earth in the raised beds here as well. Had to mulch them up with straw. It makes a huge difference. Thats when the frog decided to move in. As John Kohler mentions in his latest video, you should model like nature. In nature you would not see bare soil. Something has to occupy it. 🙂 Anyhoot, nice video mate.
