We are no longer selling them due to the cost factor so we are allowing and encouraging others to copy and improve on the design. We hope someone can design a better one at a lower cost and put it out there for all to share. This design will withstand our sometimes fierce wind gusts of 60 mph. Other designs that we tried didn’t do as well. Video Rating: 4 / 5 The Original Three Season Raised Bed Garden System is back. Now for sale. Video Rating: 5 / 5

Such a potty mouth, are you unable to find adequate words to express your discontent regarding my comment? Could your displeasure stem from your same inability to understand written language with words with more than one or two syllables? Seriously, I meant no insult to the video’s producers, the sales? dpt. or manufacturers of this gardening product. I’m just miffed at the parlay of words in this mini infomercial. Simple is best. “Buy our hoop house.”, unless your intent is deceit for profit .

Shame on you for being such a stuck up asshole.?

I admire? yr concern abt price. I made things like this out of scrap wood, some platic pipe and plastic. The polycarb top might actually be a good idea. May add that as it makes things more sturdy than just plastic pipe

I hate it when people misuse the word system in order to make a product seem like more than it really is. The definition of the word system is a combination of intricate interrelated parts organized into a complex whole. This product doesn’t qualify as a system because there is nothing intricate or complex about it. This is not a “Three Season Raised Bed Garden System”. It is a cold frame and nothing more,? shame on the manufacturer for miscalculating the level of intelligence of the consumer.

Most gardeners are really eco-conscious…? I wouldn’t buy this strictly because you’re supporting the destruction of redwood forests.

  • ayanared 7 years ago

I actually? do not think this is a bad price at all! If you delivered to Atlanta, I would seriously consider ordering…

you could actually do nicely offering up the plans for this system. I tried last year to make my own similar using the pvc as well since it was bendable and? used a plastic mil for a top, however the winds and rain quickly collapsed my hoops under the puddles, so I’m looking to figure out how to strengthen it, plans would be great

Thanks for the concern over price. You are correct. It is pricey and we did not sell many, that is why we are putting it out there for others to copy and enjoy. The U.S. cost for materials is $205 and it takes skilled carpenters 5 man hours to construct according to our specs. We use redwood for the base, thick, clear, unbreakable polycarbonate for the? removable end panels and polycarb top. The plastic sheeting is 6 mil UV treated.

345 dollars, are you insane, i could build the same for like 30 uk pounds? and 2 hours work. my grandad used to make similar in an hour.
nice idea but not a great business venture, i think you’ve priced yourself out of the market.
