In this video, I feature my own space after the annual Avery Ranch Garden tour to begin the Summers garden journal of how successful native, adapted and edible plants can be in the landscape. Low water, low maintenance and Xeriscape at its best! As a landscape designer I am always evolving to create designs that are unique to the owner, yet consistent with the plant pallet that has been shown to perform with the least effort and greatest visual impact. My HOA has created a variance allowing 75% Xeriscape in the front yard and 100% in the back and the water saving results of this change are enormous!
