3 reasons why I put the seed order in

In the past, I waited until the end of December or January to place an order with my heirloom seed company. This year, I placed my order earlier. Why? 1. The current garden task is very slow, so I have time to imagine my spring garden and plan it. 2. Delivery was delayed last year, and many seed packs were out of stock. I think if I order early, I will get the options I hope, and if they arrive late, it will not appear in my planting plan. 3. In the Southwest Desert, my growing season starts in late January. I started planting seeds in trays in the house, and then placed my first seeds (peas) underground. When I approach the planting season, having my seed order on hand will bring peace of mind and a feeling of preparation.Backyard Gardening, Southwest Desert Garden, Hardiness Zone 8b, Spring Planning
