Satan tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, and tempted Jesus in the desert. guess what? Satan is also tempting you and me every day. Satan is nothing but a corrupted fallen angel. Satan is an evil spirit who pretends to us in a deceitful way. He tempts us to do immoral things and makes us want to live according to his way, not according to God’s way.

1.) Satan likes to seduce people when they are most vulnerable, or when they are physically and emotionally stressed.

“Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil. He was hungry after fasting for forty days and forty nights. The tempter came and said to him: “If you are the son of God, please tell these stones to turn into bread. “

Jesus replied: “It is written in the Scriptures: Man lives not by food alone, but by all the words that come out of God’s mouth.” Matthew 4:2-4

Satan tempted Jesus after fasting for forty days, and he was hungry and tired. This time the test showed that Jesus was indeed the Son of God because he defeated the temptation of the devil.

God will test all Christians at some point in their lives. Our beliefs can only be strong if we can persist under the pressure of temptation.

Are you ready to accept the test of Satan?

2.) Satan dedicated the whole world to Jesus because he wanted Jesus to obey him.

“Once again, the devil took him to a high mountain and showed him the splendor of all kingdoms in the world.

“I will give you all this,” he said, “as long as you bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him: “Satan stays away from me! Because it is written in the scriptures: worship the Lord your God and serve him only.” Matthew 4:8-11

Satan tempts you and me in the same way today, tempting us through the love of money (materialism) and power in the world, as well as our desires and desires (material).

Which temptations attracted you?

3.) Sin comes in attractive and persuasive forms.

“If you are the son of God,” he said, “put yourself down. Because it is written: “He will order his messengers for you, and they will lift you up with their hands so you don’t Will step on the foot against the stone. “

Jesus answered him: “It is written in the scriptures that you must not tempt the Lord your God.” Matthew 4:6-7

Satan used the Bible to try to get Jesus to do what he wanted, but Jesus did not waver. Satan made it sound convincing, but Jesus still did not sin!

When we are tempted, Satan will focus on the three areas where he knows that we are most vulnerable.

1.) Desire, desire (physical), immoral and lewd behavior, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, abnormal behavior, etc. before marriage.

2.) Materialism, money, power (spiritual) greed, fighting for more money and power makes us not want to know God. Fighting for position in life will make us rebel against God’s way.

3.) Proud! Pride prevents humility in attractive situations. Pride is the second source!

Have you ever been persuaded or persuaded to commit a crime? How does Satan convince you?

4.) God will never lead us into temptation, but He will test us.

… “Do not let us meet temptation, save us from evil.” Matthew 6:13

All Christians fight against temptation. Sometimes these alluring situations are so subtle that we don’t even know that we are committing a crime. But God has promised us that we will not be tempted beyond what we can bear.

“Except for the normal state of man, there is no temptation to catch you. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your capacity. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand. Get up under it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

5.) Married couples can resist temptation! (Sexual offense)

If we have enough faith, God will give us strength and desire to overcome sin.

“The husband must be filial to his wife, and the wife must be filial to the husband. The wife’s body does not belong to her alone, but also to the husband. Similarly, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone, but also to his wife. Unless both parties agree , Otherwise do not deprive each other for a period of time so that you can concentrate on prayer. Then gather together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.” 1 Corinthians 7:3-5

Spiritually we belong to God, but physically we belong to our spouse!
