Blooming holiday cactus and chewy gingerbread recipe // December 2021

Hello, everyone, my name is Tracy, and I am in the garden (indoor and outdoor) in District 5/6 of Toronto, Canada (according to our situation last winter). You are watching a video about my gingerbread video recipe and blooming holiday cactus. The cacti seen in the video are the two most common cactus species in our region: Schlumbergera truncata (also known as Thanksgiving/Christmas/holiday cactus) and Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri (also known as spring/Easter cactus). I put all the cactus plants on the north-facing windowsill, and they bloom for me twice a year. Below is a link to one of my previous videos about their care and dissemination: Thank you very much for taking the time to watch my video. Happy baking and see you next time! 🪴💚 Please subscribe to my channel to get more free videos: Follow me on Facebook: @tracyshomegarden2020 Follow me on Instagram: tracyhg2020 Email: tracyhg2020@gmail.com Jump to gingerbread recipe@ 02:40 gingerbread recipe : (Cookies) 3/4 cup (190 g) unsalted butter, room temperature 1/3 cup (60 g) packaged brown sugar 1/3 cup (70 g) sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 large egg, room temperature 1/ 4 cups (60 ml) fancy molasses 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) 2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (or cloves) ) Bake 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (biscuits before rolling) at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) for 8-10 minutes. .
