Re-using the automatic sprinkler timer that was previously installed in the back yard proved to be a little more complicated than it would seem. One of the valves was leaking by and needed to be replaced, meaning the whole box had to be removed and the dirt between all the pipes dug out. The new valve was slightly different than the old one, so I had to make some changes to the pvc as well. I then replaced the old irrigation timer, which was malfunctioning, but then discovered that the outlet which the timer plugs into is malfunctioning as well! Despite all the challenges, I was able to connect all of the irrigation stations to the valves, and lay out the HDPE drip hose which will be used to water the new trees and bushes across the yard.
