High Country Gardens Habitat Hero Birdwatcher Garden

Together with Audubon Rockies and Plant Select, they collaborated to create a pre-planned garden for “Habitat Heroes” birdwatchers to support the Habitat Heroes project. This series of carefully selected plants will attract and benefit from songbirds and hummingbirds, as well as butterflies and other insect pollinators. It will delight gardeners who like to watch birds foraging among plants and flying around. The garden was designed by the famous garden designer Lauren Springer Ogden of Plantdrivendesign.com and won the 2014 Green Thumb Award. The garden is designed for the Rocky Mountains, but it is very suitable for many climates, with a mix of 15 types of perennials, shrubs and ornamental grasses. .
