Oxford's Living Libraries: Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum

The Botanic Garden was founded in 1621 with a mission ‘to promote the furtherance of learning and to glorify nature’. See its staff continue that legacy today.

The Harcourt Arboretum has 130 acres of woodland in the village of Nuneham Courtney. We follow one arborist as he scales one of its beautiful trees.
