We don’t really believe Pachypodium is the world’s ugliest plant (beauty IS in the eye of the beholder after all), but we do believe in piquing your curiosity in order to expand your botanical horizons! And Pachypodium, which is native to Yemen, might just have a good chance at doing just that. A desert plant that uses multiple strategies to thrive in its dry environment, Pachypodium is definitely an unusual looking plant with a lot of personality. A good houseplant, or plant for the greenhouse collection in colder climates.
